Check out this info-graphic tool by Fredrick Brodbeck,
Cinemetrics, Visualisation 2011. As Brodbeck describes it, Cinemetrics is a tool for "measuring
and visualising movie data, in order to reveal the characteristics of films and to create a visual "fingerprint"
for them. Information such as the editing structure, color, speech or motion are extracted, analyzed and transformed into
graphic representations so that movies can be seen as a whole and easily interpreted or compared side by side."
The Diseasome website allows us the explore the relationships of diseases and disorders in this interactive map. Created by researchers and engineers,
this map uses the Human Disease Network data set to help us visually understand interrelationships and complexities.
